We are NetNames Brand Protection Limited, a brand protection and internet monitoring company.
We have been instructed by our client, Industria de Diseño Textil. S.A. (Inditex), parent company of ZARA, to take action in relation to websites that infringe our client's intellectual property rights. Please see the attached authorisation letter from our client.
Our client specialises in the manufacture and supply of fashion clothing and accessories and is the trade mark proprietor of the ZARA trademark in numerous jurisdictions around the world.
We have been alerted to your website, xxx, which is using our client’s trademark in the domain name in relation to advertising services without any authorisation.
Please kindly be advised that this act is misleading consumers into thinking there is a business association between xxx and our client, which is untrue and unjustified. Our client confirms there is no cooperation of any kind with your website and your website is purposefully diverting traffic, all of which amounts to infringement of our client’s intellectual property rights.
We kindly request you expeditiously cease and desist of any and all, present or future, unauthorized use our client’s registered trademark “ZARA and logos and remove and/or disable the domain name within 5 days of the date of this notice in order to prevent us contacting the webhost and registrar which could result in suspension/closure of your website.
We hope that this should cease all the misunderstandings and we look forward to your immediate correspondence and kind confirmation.
