Får hvem som helt registrere et .fr eller må en ha lokal tilhørighet til Frankrike? Prøvede en gang og registrere .fr men fikk problemer gunnet mangel på lokal tilhørighet.
FR restrictions
To be eligible to the registration of a .FR domain name, applicant must meet either one of the following criteria:
•be a company registered under French Law
•be a French resident aged of at least 18 years
•hold a registered Trademark covering the French territory
•be a French citizen living abroad
In addition to one of the above, the applicant must appoint an administrative contact located and reachable in France.
Please note that although no documentary evidence is required at the time of Registration, AFNIC may perform spot checks following the Registration to ensure the criteria above are effectively met. In such case, AFNIC may require the .FR holder to confirm its status by producing one of the following documents:
• If the .FR holder is a French citizen, either a copy of the Passport or the French ID card copy
• If the .FR holder or Administrative-Contact is a French resident, either a Tax return receipt, an insurance bill, a utility bill
